Crataegus x lavalleei
Crataegus x lavalleei is known as the Hybrid Cockspurthorn or, sometimes Lavallée’s Hawthorn. It is a hybrid that arose from tow cultivated species of hawthorn. It forms an ornamental tree with glossy lobed leaves, attractive white blossom and abundant oraange berries. In the cultivar carrierei the leaves turn red before dropping.
